I stayed there for 2days, my experience was brilliant. The service they arer providing is excellent if you compare it to the price. The reception is not open 24/7, open from 1800-2200. So if you cannot manage to check in within this time frame you have to let them know and they will arrange someone there at additional cost. Once you got the key you can enter at any time. However, the adjacent lane is very quiet, especially night time so have a look around if you come late (like midnight). Morrison's nearby, restaurants and pubs available around, so no headache for food or supplies. Overall, preferable. Staffs were very welcoming in nature. You will be asked for a 10 quids deposit which will be returned upon returning of the keys.

Aweful. Worst night of my life, but staff was nice, knowing the reason why I ended up there and thankfully a friend rescue me from there next morning. Place is as basic and cheap as the dude who abandoned me there on Christmas eve 2 years ago.

Saw a lot of bad reviews for this place but booked a room anyway. I think a lot of people leaving reviews here are expecting too much - you get what you pay for and I had a perfectly pleasant time. I didn't have a toilet in my room, but this was not a problem. The only negative is the showers - after a long day I wanted to get clean, and because the showers produce a slow dribble with wildly fluctuating pressure and temperature, this was rather frustrating and took probably 5 times longer than I'd usually spend in a normal shower. The room itself was not the cleanest, but to be honest I'm used to it from home. It's somewhat comforting to not be staying in a pristine modern hotel room. The building and style of the decorations had some character to them even. We made it work. And considering the price of the stay I would say I got excellent value for money. The staff were perfectly pleasant and helpful. After reading other reviews I've come to the conclusion that some people just expect the world - for about £30 a night in a perfectly central location, I'm pleased with my stay.

We drove all the way from South West London. We was greeted by Mohammed at reception and he displayed 5 star customer service. He was very welcoming and helpful as it was our first time in Manchester. As we were new to the area, he pointed out good things to do and places to visit. The room was very clean and had a kettle, tea and mugs on the bedside table on arrival. Cheap and cheerful, we was very impressed. The location is also very accessible with lots of local shops.

Worst place ever! Rooms dirty full of dust even I found cigarettes under the bed! Bathroom horrible too and was not clean. And the worst was the counter guy, he refuse to take my deposit with card as “Was too much work to refund it later” then he make me go to the card machine to grab cash. I have to left early and I could not get my money back. Hope no one goes to that place.

Unreliable hotel, poor customer service. My partner and I had booked our room 4 weeks prior to our planned getaway during the August bank holiday , only to find out a few days before that the hotel cancelled our stay as they overbooked their vacancies. The way this is was communicated to us showed no sign of good customer service as the staff were unhelpful and didn’t care to help us with rebooking and refused to take our calls when we tried to get a better understanding of the situation. Needless to say we will not be staying there in the future. Very disappointing experience.
