I've never felt compelled to leave a review for a hairdresser before but Joe gave me my favourite hair cut ever! This was my first time at Melissa's and now I wouldn't go to any other hair salon. Joe is really attentive to detail, gave me some great hair tips and was lovely to chat to. If you go, I'd highly recommend booking Joe!! The lady on reception is also very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back xxx

Melissa Timperley is THE best hair salon in Manchester. Melissa is my hairdresser and she is the most professional,attentive,kind woman I know.Not to mention a colour Master. I always feel special from arriving to leaving the salon. The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxing.The vibe chilled yet trendy. The decor is amazing and every single member of the team genuinely lovely. If your looking for the very best this industry has to offer book you wont be disappointed ❤

First time at MT Salons and I cannot recommend it enough! From start to finish, my experience was perfect and I will be coming back. I had a Ladies Cut with Victoria and at each stage she made sure to thoroughly check her work, show me how my cut looked and listen to my requests. She was an absolute star! The salon is immaculate and all the extra measures in place are clear and efficient. There really is nothing to fault 🥰

I went for the first time here after seeing that they had won some awards and also checking out their instagram, which had really nice hair colour works, and I must say I was very impressed. The stylist I had was Lauren and she took the time to do a proper consultation and give recommendations on style and colour. She also did a fantastic job with my highlights and colour, and got rid off all the black roots and brassy yellow on the lengths of my hair. I liked the way she packed the highlights tight and to the very root, so my pink colour came out beautifully. The staff are all very friendly, and the salon is very clean. MT is probably the best salon I have ever been too, as many salons I have been to before just never get my colour right like here. They are very popular though, so it's best book a few weeks in advance. Overall excellent.

I have been going to Melissa Timperley for a few years now and have never had a bad experience, all the staff are lovely and I am made to feel welcome on each visit. Everyone I come into contact with takes their time to make me feel valued, I recently went to the salon and wondered how it would feel with all the covid-19 precautions in place. I felt completely safe and relaxed throughout my whole appointment, Melissa has always gone above and beyond to make her salon feel and look professionally but still offer a friendly experience and this has not been changed by the procedures in place. Due to availability I had an appointment with Joe rather than Melissa on my last visit, it's never easy to change hairdresser especially when you love how the person you usually see does your hair. Joe did not disappoint, I'm very happy with how he cut my hair and have received the same lovely comments from people since getting it done. Joe also offers the same warm and friendly experience I've come to expect from this salon and as always I felt listened to and left with exactly the style I had wanted. I cannot recommend this salon enough, thanks to all the MT team for all your hard work and dedication.

I was never the type who would go to the hairdressers to get my hair coloured as I had always done it myself (I know how naughty) But when I did decide that I wanted my hair done professionally and treat myself, I found Melissa Timperley Hair Salon and they did not disappoint! I always love coming here. Everyone is so friendly and very welcoming. Victoria has always done such an amazing job on my hair and exceed my expectations every single time I go. I always trust her to do what I ask for with my hair but she does it in a way and go through a process so my hair would stay in a healthy condition. I love that she's such a perfectionist and she gets excited with me about the outcome of her own work! I admire that Melissa also makes sure that other clients (not just the ones she's styling herself) are okay. I always have an amazing experience here; the best head massage and always leave with a smile on my face. So now, I don't think I'll be going anywhere else to get my hair done!

Never have I had such an amazing experience at a salon. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, from my first few steps inside. I’m usually a little anxious about meeting new stylists because of my curly hair, and I haven’t always had the best experience. My stylist Helen was incredible, I’ve never had someone who took me on a whole transformation and truly listened to actually what I wanted. If I could rate it higher I would. Brilliant stylist who made me feel at ease when cutting my curly hair! Not only did she offer great advise, she didn’t make me feel pressured to buy or change what I’m currently doing with my hair. Very impressed, even made a great cup of tea! I will most definitely be back!

I enjoyed my first time at the hair salon with new hair stylist Mia, not only was she lovely but she understood what I wanted to do with my hair and the end result didn’t disappoint! The experience and vibe at the salon was great from start to finish, I can’t stop staring at my new highlights and cut, I really love it! Thanks Mia and Melissa, can’t wait to go back again!

Love, love, love coming here ! I do a round trip of 108 miles to get my hair done which is worth every second of my time,I have done numerous hair salons and never have found one as outstanding as this one. My opinion when you have qualified hairdressers, I think they get complacent/content don't update there training, in which I think it requires doing as everything is changing constantly from our food, products & the environment. Here at Melissa's salon you can just see that the training is done with the results of your hair, staff very friendly and helpful, polite, cleanliness is on form consistently, just truly grateful to have found this hair salon. OUTSTANDING ! Truly Grateful Mary
