Centrally located post office in Manchester city centre.within a few minutes walk of the Manchester arndale.ofren busy but always well staffed and with a friendly service.there are 2 entrances but only one of them is accessible for the disabled.the location isn't far from parking or public transport.has a good range of facilities.

Went in to post parcel. No queue (2.45pm Wednesday). Didn't have postcode. Was informed that parcel could not be sent without it (???????). Staff couldnt find it on their syatem. Possible recipricent not answering phone. Staff member suggested I come back when I had postcode. After a few minutes more I suggested she call supervisor. Only one manager in and she's in a meeting. Quote- I'm a customer go and get her. - seconds later the manager was there, smiley face, had found my postcode, everything sorted, no problem, Conclusion- quite happy, however, should absolutely not have been asked to come back later, staff should have tried harder no matter how busy - which they weren't. When I ask to see a manager coz no-one else can help me, I'm not interested in whether she's in a meeting or not. This sort of basic problem should not need a manager. In closing, can you imagine just how bad this review would be without a bright, competent and customer focused manager?

I spent like 60£ to send a 6kg package to italy with personal items, after 20 days it still hasn't arrived, I have tried to get in touch with this post Office, but the phone number is a joke, just a robot sending me to websites. Still no news about my package, no tracking number, no email, just a big scam, I really don't know why is it so hard to send a package in 2021. I will never use Post Office again in my life.

Online they have a price and when you go there they have a different price! Much higher! They try to sell you the most expensive service and they make you waste time. I went with a price of £5.47 end up paying £17. Worst experience ever.

This review is for the gentleman that works on the package scales/sorters. Thanks for helping me with my items when I haven't used them before and it was daunting especially when so busy on my lunch. You were a complete legend and I hope this gets back to you. Thanks again.

Becareful because they try to rip you off in this post office. You'll end up paying double for some weird reason. Also the staff are always trying to man handle your packages so they can purposely make you pay more. They even stopped the self service so that you pay more at the counters as well. Kind of why I now only use Hermes.
