Was the first art gallery I've visited with lots of variety in the exhibits. it went from sculptures, pottery, old art and even family friendly area. Recommend as it's good free thing to do in the centre

I go to Manchester Art Gallery a few time every year. One of my favourites. It's worth a visit, and it always has new exhibitions and events going on! It's worth to point out, that it FREE entry. It's a very welcoming place. There's always someone at the entrance who is very helpful and will point you in the right direction.

Manchester Art Gallery has improved immensely in the last few years since its modernisation. The permanent collection is a little limited but the visiting exhibitions are varied and interesting. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are excellent. If you are in Manchester take a look, there's much more to this city than football & music

The building its self is beautiful with the way the older building has been extended. The artwork inside is a great collection with a few of my favorites below! There were free guided tours and helpful staff dotted about just wish the place was a bit bigger!!!

A truly beautiful gallery with so much artwork from plenty of different eras and genres. Multiple levels and some very interesting exhibitions which are always fun to experience. There is something for everyone here and even some fun, interactive things to do on the bottom level, which is great for little ones! Everything is stunning, inside and out and it is lovely to see how much everyone respects the gallery too. It is never too busy or loud. It is a great place to visit!

What a wonderful setting for a much delayed wedding this weekend. Socially distanced to the current guidance, the staff were ever attentive, helpful and courteous. The venue is simply stunning for such an event, and, as you might expect, such fabulous backdrops. Well done to the events team, we will return to absorb the collection properly soon e. Thank you

Interesting to an extent. Would have liked more contemporary art which I'd hoped for. Large Lowery gallery which is great if you like his work. No vegan breakfast available on first opening which was rather disappointing. Used up the night before. Breakfast. Last night 🤔 Pleasant visit but too much space taken up with the cafe and especially the shop!

It was a decent visit for me. Despite the fact that I am not a craftsmanship individual. Various incredible chips away at show. Open to setting to partake in the pieces. Not to be missed. Section is free. Gifts appreciated.

Just wanted to thank the lovely staff in your cafeteria who were so kind when they found out it was my birthday. I only ordered a round of drinks & they brought a delicious cupcake for me, it made a fleeting trip very special & shows the calibre of your employees. They are a great asset.
