The facilities are great and really well priced. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I’m knocking off a star because I went for a swimming lesson and the instructor thought it was appropriate to point out to everyone that another member of staff picked his nose. I’m more bothered by her attitude than his hygiene

Visited the pool a few times while on business in Manchester. Good facilities, however it is very difficult for casual swimmers to find proper lanes. The pool is a 50m pool most often split into two 23m pools by the moving central platform. Check out their online timetable to check lane availability. Staff is okay but could be nicer

I love the aquatics centre - I have been going for years, the only negative is the health suite - it really needs to be refurbished, it is not a nice place to relax in, but other than that I love going to the aquatics centre, the most positive person is the fitness instructor called Ella - she is incredible, I go to her body combat and body attack classes, now I have been exercising since I was around 18ish I am now 51, so you can imagine how many instructors i have experienced, i would put Ella as one of the top instructors, it is an absolute pleasure to be in one of her classes. thank you so much for making me feel amazing every Monday during the body combat! Much appreciated. If anybody looks at this message from the aquatics, please please sort out the health suite, it is not a good experience. thank you.

3/ 5

I regularly use this centre for strength training and the facilities are decent, with excellent swimming pools and a mediocre gym. Some of the staff are helpful, but some simply aren't. Best experience is to just go in there, do your workout and leave.

MAC is a great venue, but 2 constant complaints. First, the cafe is almost never open, there are a couple of hundred people here watching water polo. If it was mine I would have deffinitely have opened. Second, the blue seats are rubbish, I used to work in this industry and it's clear the seats are mounted wrong. The rubber mounting is to flexible, the seat tips forward and puts pressure on your knees. Without doubt the least comfy I have ever sat in.
