Great location, nicely designed place. Satisfied with the staff, staying was great. I didn't try the food here. The service is awesome with unlimited kindness. One thing what I would improve on is the gym. Small place, few equipment, no music just a TV what's not ready to use.

Happy, kind people running this great hotel makes for a very happy and very comfortable stay. After a disaster at a nearby hotel I came to the Malmaison at 8.00pm asking if they had a room for two nights, told the lovely and very kind Caroline my story and she told me "we will look after you"... and they did. I had a lovely stay in a really nice room with a very comfortable bed and I FELT very looked after. Care and attention by staff seemed effortless and felt sincere. Every team member I came into contact with was kind, helpful and pleasant. No hesitation in recommending this place - superb. (Great breakfast too with equally great staff there as well). Location is fantastic, being very close to the buzzing heart of this great city and all its amenities.

Had my leaving do for work here We went for afternoon tea. Staff were efficient and attentive. Food was nice and presented well. Only suggestion would be to include an alternative for lactose free as I couldn't have the milkshake. That said, they accommodated our other dietary requests with ease. I've been to many afternoon teas in Manchester and this was one of the best. Also worth noting the tea and coffee is unlimited!

Was a little disappointed with breakfast, service was slow and there was an extra charge for having something off the menu which wasn't advised when we booked the room inclusive of breakfast. On the whole though a very nice well located hotel.

We had a festive afternoon tea yesterday for my sister in law to be Hen Party.there were 20 of us and from start to finish the staff were amazing. We were in a private room and Will looked after us. He was so friendly, attentive and very professional. Could not recommend this place enough. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails. Will even came outside to check on us whilst waiting for a mini bus 3 times, as it was late. What great service from start to finish. Thank you Will xx

I stayed at The Mal in Mcr for a birthday treat, the receptionists were helpful and friendly. The check-in process was quick and efficient. My standard double room had a really comfortable bed with tea, coffee, water plus an espresso machine available in the room. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of space although the shower was in a bathtub. Breakfast service was good with a decent selection of food on offer. I'll definitely stay at The Malmaison on another trip to Manchester.

We stayed in a Club room which was fairly comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately the lighting in the room is not brilliant. The bathroom had a shower and bath but we missed the individual shampoo, shower gel etc which was replaced with dispensers which reminded us of a Premier Inn. The breakfast starter of fruit and yogurt were tasty but the full English breakfast was disappointing. The orders were mixed up, the fried eggs over cooked and the whole thing was only just warm. The cue for coffee machines was horrendous and staff had to help out because they kept saying they were out of milk. The one upside was the staff were helpful and polite.
