Amazing location and beautiful rustic cottage! Good amenities and was nice and clean! They placed roses and candles for our romantic arrival! Don’t pay attention to the 1-stars, it is remote in the bush, and amazing. We had 1 moth haha The driveway for the Love Cabin is off road and up a steep hill. So maybe don’t tale a lowered sedan!

Had a really lovely time staying at Wollemi Cabins. The dream cabin was very spacious completed with a fire place and a spa bath. The views were spectacular. I must say I had a very relaxing time. I highly recommend this place!

Very relaxing time at the Dream Cabin. Well worth the money. It rained and was beautiful. I’ve read the other reviews here and can confirm that I couldn’t smell the drop toilet at all! There is also a normal toilet upstairs. The water in the spa contains tannins so it is definitely not clear but shouldn’t hurt you (also, you’re in the bush!). Nice fireplace, comfy beds, relaxing couches! Will be going back :)

Stayed in Kissing Cave. Rained the whole time but who cared. Lit the wood fire, cooked gourmet meals together, and relaxed away from civilisation & mobile phones. Reading other reviews, its about expectation. Expect 5 star luxury and every modern comfort and you'll be disappointed. But expect a private experience in accomodation that is themed, remote and beautiful, and its worth its 5 stars. The Kissing Cave was beautiful. Yes, its in the bush, at the end of a dirt road, with a composting toilet, and miles from restaurants or traffic, but from the time you enter the tunnel down the stairs into the cave, its very clear you're stay can be as unique & fun as you hoped. Loved it.

Wonderful and unique experience. As long as you know what to expect from a semi-isolated location in the blue mountains you can ignore the 'less than flattering' reviews. This place is about 'the experience' and disconnecting from the larger world. Mobile reception isn't great - it's supposed to be that way! The water for the rooftop bath can be a little brown/brackish but that's the way it is when you're isolated in the Aussie bush. Same with insects and critters - YOU are in THEIR home, not the other way around (we had zero issues with insects). Lionel has done an damn amazing job building all the cabins himself and does listen to feedback (eg. he has installed one screen door on the sliding doors in the enchanted cave) but he still wants to keep the experience as authentic as possible. Tips: extra candles for ambience (rather than masking smells), better location to visit during cooler temperatures (we were there in early May) although lazing outside under the outdoor shower when it is warm would be amazing, glow worm tour is incredible but sturdy shoes/clothes that you don't mind getting dirty are essential. We'll be going back to try the other cabins for sure!
