On the whole can be cry impressive. You know that you're in an above standard Trust from the off. However, communication can let this place down. Bad layout for such a hospital. Limited disabled parking near main outpatients so you end up walking a significant distance. Use free courtesy bus although there can be a 15min wait and above. Plenty of land to put more disabled spaces on. Communication nearly cost my Mum her life and the distance to get to outpatients, even entering the building is distance, these are why I dropped a star. RECENT ISSUE: Outpatients now has a screen calling system. This thing bongs every minute as one waiting room for many clinics, specialities and testings. Screen text is tiny and despite dep'ts separated into colours, if you manage to catch you name being called you then go on a 'Crystal Maze' like dash to find the exact room you need. Feeling overcomplicated, but give them credit for trying something new. I just think there's too much happening off that one waiting room, in all directions, to rely on it as a patient & employee of Trust.
