An excellent convenience store and post office.which has an enviable reputation with it's regular customers. The staff are friendly and helpful . it is an asset to North Manchester. The proprietor is hard working and reliable and he relates well to his customers and nothing is too much trouble to service their needs and preferences. This is the hub of the local community

Today is Saturday, 5:27pm and the post office is already closed. I am disappointed because at their website is showing it closes at 7pm. So I drove 2 miles for nothing, apart to spend my time and fuel.

Avoid!!! I live locally and been to this place many times. There is this man age around 50s has very bad attitude, in addition he is very slow at his job, as he can spent 3 mins just to print out proof of postage! He probably owned the shop otherwise I couldn't think of any reason he is still there! He is rude and slow at his job, He is not capable of his job at all! I wouldn't recommend this post office unless you can't be bothered to drag yourself to somewhere else.

17th March 2015 Gentleman serving behind the counter was incompetent, I don't use that word lightly. The queue of people waiting to be served was growing. The gentleman serving had seemingly no training. I viewed him giving the wrong advice to 3 people who were sending parcels. Then spending more than 10 minutes crawling over a heap of parcels in the back room while he looked for something that was right their on the counter. I was here picking up a parcel. I gave my driving licence as ID. He spent minutes looking at this before accepting it. He then asked who the parcel was for. I didn't know as the card only said "delivery attempted". He told me I could not pickup a parcel if I didn't know who it was addressed to, so I had to tell him the names of all 5 people in my house and eventually he agreed to hand over the parcel but only after a payment. I was charged £1 for picking up a parcel which I knew to be incorrect. Parcel Force had decided to drop the parcel here, I had not asked for this to be done, so argued this but he insisted. I have since had this confirmed by Parcel force that no payment was due and they will be following this up. I hope this gentleman was just having a bad day, I can't believe he would be allowed to serve people while making so many mistakes.

Used this place a for a few deliveries now and the service has been great every time. The guy behind the Post Office service counter seems to know his stuff and is happy to help with different delivery options. There is also a good selection of items in the main shop.

It's within a small shop with some basic groceries. Note that the opening hours for post office services are different than the shop's opening hours. There is a cash machine outside the shop, which is useful.
