Don't get me wrong the selection is top class. It's my go to for the weekly shop (marks and Spencers for special ingredients obviously). However the layout of this particular is really off putting. Pasta next to chocolate spread? You must be joking.

As everyone knows you get good value for your money but staff attitude is a let down. The speed that they throw your shopping at you at the till is ridiculous. Sharpen up folks or next time it's coming back faster.

Terrible.. closes at 10pm yet got there at 9:55pm just to get something quickly and the door was locked. Supermarkets are not supposed to close earlier before the stated time, if they've still got a customer in store and it just leaves 10pm it's not a big deal, supposed to get serviced until the closure time. Hate stores that do this and Lidl Maryhill didn't used to be like this. Shame...

Visited after a long time due to using another supermarket because it was closer and just seemed more practical. The new layout suited the store. Obviously allowed Lidl to offer more items and a much more varied selection. I love the fresh bakery at the front of store. Very clever positioning. Smell of freshly baked bread and other items makes you feel hungry. They always say never shop for food when you're hungry. I would be happy to promote this store to others. Although prices everywhere have went up Lidl still has competitive pricing. I now shop at different stores for different items. This seems to work well and helps my pocket. Mostly food at Lidl but for household items there are other shops with lower prices and varied stock from better brands.

Refurbishment is brilliant! Went today and is 3x bigger than the old store, loads more produce and looks amazing. My girlfriend is very happy as it is all I have been talking about all week. Love some 79p apples!

Good variety of goods at a cheaper price compared to tesco and other places, however, some fruits and veggies can be moldy, so you have to be careful when picking them.
