This store and chain is closing which is always a pity and all goods are advertised at 30 to 60% reductions, the only problem being that most of the best items are already gone but if you want cheap electronic or computer goods get yourself down there and sympathy for the staff after all they're losing their jobs

yesterday 17/12/16 at about 17:30 I went to replace a faulty scale bought the day before yesterday. the clerk (a woman of about 30 years) tells me I can not change it because it is not in good condition. I tell him that I just bought and placed over an object, and I did not pay anything more. angry I left the shop, leaving the balance there. return after a few minutes asking to get back the balance (thinking that if battery change might work). this time will help me a girl (very nice) I'll explain what has happened and immediately shows available (unlike the first cashier). After the clerk interjects saying that the scale works and must be based on a perfectly flat surface to function properly (basically lied to me). I get home and I notice sponges below the surface of the scale, remove them and the balance works fine (without SURFACE PERFECTLY FLAT). The product is good in the end result. the assistance of a cashier bad. I put 3 stars insteaf of 1 only because it helped me the other girl. I will return again but if I meet the cashier I get out immediately.

1/ 5

Staff was totally incompetent. Bought a LED small circuit with batteries and a switch and the staff recommended me to buy a specific system and all the elements. It should be simple and straight forward, I open the items I was advised to put together in the simplest circuit you can do and it wasn't working, so I went back the same day thinking the battery box was not right and they wouldn't change it as their engineer was not in. No one in the shop was able to give me a solution but at the same time they wouldn’t give me my money back because some things were opened. Obviously I had to try it to see the pieces weren’t working together. I have to go now for a 3rd time to see if the engineer (only in on weekends apparently) can help me get the right elements (wouldn’t pay any more than I already have to be honest…) or get my money back, as I wouldn’t keep half of a non-working circuit for any reason… hope they don’t call the police like in a comment below when I ask for my consumer fights…

Called in for two tiny components that I had lost from a previous purchase. One of the LEDs was out of stock despite the computer saying there was one left. Dean found an alternative but that was also not in the drawer. Diligently he made a note to correct the stock levels. I only spent 38p but customer service, banter and the time taken to help me as a customer was spot on. Dean is a superstar.

4/ 5

Bit pricey compared to the web, but an invaluable resource if you're after a quick fix or looking for a hard-to-find converter or battery. Friendly staff know their stock. It's worthwhile checking stock levels online if you're after something specific.
