Two issues: 1. Two weeks before you get a Doctor’s appointment? Really? Settled for a Nurse Practitioner and got one sooner. Got there to find I was one of 3 (JUST 3) people in the waiting room, and 1 of 2 waiting for the nurse. If the practice is so busy that no Doctors are available, where were all the patients? Do any bloody Doctors actually work there now? 2. Having requested a repeat prescription, I am told 4 days later that I won’t get it until a Doctor speaks to me. Meds run out 3 days before this telephone consultation, which I tried to explain to the idiot receptionist would cause me to become sick. She wasn’t interested and as expected, having rationed my remaining meds, I am sick as a dog. Conclusion: This practice has gone to hell. No doctors, unsympathetic underlings on reception and quite clearly, Nurse Practitioners being used to plug gaps. Assuming I get my meds, I’ll be leaving this ineffective band of cretins.
