Two issues: 1. Two weeks before you get a Doctor’s appointment? Really? Settled for a Nurse Practitioner and got one sooner. Got there to find I was one of 3 (JUST 3) people in the waiting room, and 1 of 2 waiting for the nurse. If the practice is so busy that no Doctors are available, where were all the patients? Do any bloody Doctors actually work there now? 2. Having requested a repeat prescription, I am told 4 days later that I won’t get it until a Doctor speaks to me. Meds run out 3 days before this telephone consultation, which I tried to explain to the idiot receptionist would cause me to become sick. She wasn’t interested and as expected, having rationed my remaining meds, I am sick as a dog. Conclusion: This practice has gone to hell. No doctors, unsympathetic underlings on reception and quite clearly, Nurse Practitioners being used to plug gaps. Assuming I get my meds, I’ll be leaving this ineffective band of cretins.

I walked in with blood dripping into my shoe, asking for a tetanus. I was told there are no appointment for 2 weeks and that I should go to the local hospital. When I informed Angela (The manager) that I have no transportation, she told me "that's not really my problem". When I asked why she was being rude about it, I was told "I'm not being rude, you can't just walk in an expect a tetanus. You can either go to the Victoria hospital or else come back in two weeks".

Recently had problem with Medication. Tried to get it sorted at reception. Receptionist (Tutted) in front of me and my daughter. Then told me a chemist had my tablets in. I went to chemist only to be told receptionist got it wrong. I called angrily to speak to receptionist, she replied”go to all the chemists, one of them is bound to have them in” After getting tablets from Lloyd’s instead, she proceeded to make both me and my daughter out to be liars.she stated I would receive a call the following week about an alternative tablet. When asked by her manager after I complained, she stated she did not tell me this at all. Let me stress this point, the Doctors are great, it’s only this one receptionist I had an issue with, she made me out a liar,if dealing with the public is a problem, maybe she should not be doing the job. I’ve taken the issue further.

No appointments at all available for two weeks and they are unable to offer dates further ahead than that. I was advised to call in every day. I work full time and it's not an emergency so I can't go at short notice which was why I phoned in (what I thought was) plenty of time.

Always friendly and polite staff . Always found Dr's to be thorough and approachable . It is hard to get appointments at times, however that's the same all over in successful surgeries so to be expected.

One word - GDPR Most unpleasant staff I have ever encountered (I later switched practice). The manager is deliberately twisted and my GP was the most arrogant man I have ever met. I suffer from Epilepsy and was having very painful experience on a particular day, and needed an emergency appointing. My GP said that this does not count as an emergency and sent me away... Before I changed practice I later make a GDPR request to be equally as twisted (They HATE that more than anything as it consumes HOURS of their time and they don't get paid for it + Its very easy to do and there are online template on how to do it, it only takes 5 minutes)

GPs are very unhelpful long term conditions ignored ended up going private to get diagnosed and have surgery. Medication recommended post surgery unavailable told not sure why I was on it and there there was no alternatives. Went private to get a long list of alternatives including one boots suggested that GP said was inappropriate for the condition. Other occasions prescribed medications I'm allergic to and was asked by GP to speak to boots to suggest alternative. List could go on.
