Lakeland york

Love to shop at Lakeland. Excellent quality goods and great service. Had a problem with an item purchased and it was exchanged straight away with no fuss. Just bought 2 Remoskas from the York store. Brilliant items.

It's bizarre to find a shop in York that sells things that people actually use rather being a bar or cafe. Prices are fair and the shop looks very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Another great outlet - well done Lakeland. Yes a bit pricey but some great products. Staff so very helpful.

I have ordered a heated clothes dryer from Lakeland. We ordered in store for home delivery but after it hadn't arrived for 2 weeks and communication has been non existant I wish I had bought it off Amazon. I try to use shops when i can but the delivery has been rubbish. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks after I ordered it I called and was told it was out of stock. Then a few days later I got an email at 10am to say it would be delivered between 4 and 6 the same day. Luckily I was able to be home but the lack of notice isn't good. Then when the delivery arrived it was just the cover, no dryer! Apparently I should have been told it would come separately when i ordered but i wasn't. I now need to be in to accept another delivery! There is no option to choose your delivery day either. All the staff in the shop were great but actually getting what I ordered has been rubbish. I won't order anything directly from the shop again when i can get efficient convenient delivery from Amazon, I mean why would you come to my house to deliver one order twice! Its no wonder shops are going out of business due to online retailers.
