Guidance under first rate instructors who put a lot of effort into developing self defence techniques that align with evolving criminal behaviours and patterns. Started Krav Maga with no physical fitness or martial arts background and I can’t believe how much I’ve learned in a year. Still have a lot to learn and I couldn’t ask for a better group of fellow Spartans to join me on my journey. I can easily say that Monday Krav sessions are the highlight of my week!

5/ 5

People have all kind of excuses for not joining a martial arts or self-defence school, and I had all of them: inflexible and stiff, injury-prone, very uncomfortable with violence. Having trained with Spartans for more than a year, I can say it's one of the best thing I have done for my self. It's not complicated or fancy stuff, but simple moves that can be registered with muscle-memory and, thus, can work in real life. Perhaps even more important than the moves are the things one learns about situational awareness and how to foresee and avoid a danger or a fight. The instructors are experts who live and breathe Krav Maga. What has really impressed me is that, as opposed to traditional martial arts, they are not afraid to re-evaluate and even change a move if experience or 'field reports' from real life indicate that it won't work in an optimal way. Also, the environment is friendly and welcoming, and I have made friends with other Spartans. Overall, Krav is a humbling and empowering experience, and Spartans Academy is the best place to train. Thanks Gheorghe and Orjan!

Brilliant instructors! Every class is different but each class builds upon the previous classes to ensure you both remember the skills and can practice week on week. I would highly recommend if you are wanting to learn self defense or want to do a really great workout.
