Completely unacceptable and rude behaviour from member of staff

Over the last few months I have been pushed off a machine by a member of staff there on two separate occasions. Yes, pushed off. The first time he pushed me away on my shoulder. The second occasion he grabbed my hand and physically moved it off the equipment. On neither occasion did he say anything, ask if it was okay for his client to use the machine, or speak to me in any way. He just used physical contact to force me off. The first time I was shocked to be honest, and just walked away. The second time I was really cross and challenged him directly. He just laughed at me and didn’t respond, acknowledge me or apologise in any way. I have submitted a formal complaint, but the local management have been completely uninterested and unsupportive. I have asked for the complaint to be escalated, and weeks later I am waiting for a response. If you want to join a gym where there’s a chance you will be physically removed from a machine by a member of staff, and where any complaint you raise will be treated with disdain, complete lack of interest, and lack of support, this is the gym for you. If you don’t, please go somewhere else.

Gym is large and airy, with a good level of equipment. Some of the staff are really friendly and proactive which helps, but more could be done to clean the equipment and put equipment away when members fail to. Covid spacing is not great and also there seems to be an issue with fixing/replacing broken equipment - it takes forever (over a year for some bits).

Some of the members seem to think they can park wherever they like. This is an industrial estate not solely for the use of gym members. Then there are those who use JD's own car park. It is clearly sign posted one way so turn left! Ironic how lazy some gym members can be. If you want your precious little BMW or Audi flattened by a HGV, carry on going the wrong way out of the car park

It’s very massive gym with all necessary equipment. Good atmosphere only one small problem is that you can’t get anyone to help with understand equipment usages. Maybe needs same uniforms for personal. Otherwise all good

It's cheap at £20 a month and good value for money, lots of equipment, includes classes and a sauna. It does get rammed at peak times and its overwhelming. The music is literally blasting your eardrums out even with headphones on. But for the price, it's got everything you need and open 24hrs.

Decent gym, has everything you pay for. Staff aren't really approachable and not too polite but if you know what you're doing it normally doesn't matter too much. Wide range of machines and stations. The changing rooms could be cleaned and checked more often as sometimes left in a state. But apart from that is good in general.
