I stared training at Kaizen about a year ago after a 20+ year break from martial arts and honestly haven’t looked back. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Absolutely brilliant instructors all are top quality. There’s a great sense of family in the dojo and a real sense that your a part of something here. Honestly have enjoyed every lesson since joining. You can be a total beginner or have some experience- either way your treated the same, a real welcoming place and a great place to start or continue your journey.

Great place to do karate. The guy that runs it is very passionate and really cares about each individual student. Each lesson contains a good mix of the different aspects involved in karate and other students are always really to help if you struggle. Wonderful and dedicated atmosphere which is perfect for this type of sport!

I started my journey with Kaizen back in May 2014, I am currently a 1st Dan Black Belt (Shodan). The tuition is top notch and each lesson is carefully planned to maximise all the elements required in learning Karate also everyone is different and progresses in different ways and the training ensures every karateka receives nothing but the best instruction . This is the place to be if you are serious about learning traditional Karate, also make new friends. Join the Kaizen family you will not be disappointed.

I joined Kaizen nine months ago and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was very nervous as I entered the dojo but was greeted by Sensei who is very chilled (until its time to train the it's game face) and very people who soon put my mind at ease. Since then I've made some really good friends, I'd say it's more like a family as everyone is so welcoming and there's no ego from anyone. I can highly recommend anyone joining from children to adults alike (I'm now 41).

Best place to be for fitness, self defense and self esteem, it's my home away from home and I love to train and learn with some of Britain's best Sensei's.
