Basic rooms, huge bar. Not easy to find the place, the name of the bar is prominent, the lodge name not quite so. Food is standard pub grub, fish and chips, steak and ale pie, that sort of thing. Good for an overnight. Nice view of the forth rail bridge, but a little noisy when the trains go over.

Excellent large room with a great view overlooking the river. Basic tea/coffee facilities. Friendly welcome. Only down side is the proximity to the rail bridge but this is only minor and you don't notice it too much. Would recommend staying. Ideal transport links near by into Edinburgh Waverley.

May need a bit of a refurb but it was clean and the staff were very helpful. Even if they weren't the view would be worth it alone.
