They only have espresso now which is fine unless you want a coffee

Not as nice staff as nationwide
I have banked with HSBC since the time it was Midland Bank and had both my business and personal account with them. On the whole the staff were friendly. However, when I tried to talk to them about how they were investing my money in fossil fuels and why that worried me they weren't interested. I tried to engage them to see if there were ways that my money could be ethically used etc but they were unable yo offer any sort of facility for not using my money for funding fossil fuels. This means that despite the generally good service, I have decided to move banks. I cannot leave my money invested in a bank that uses it to destroy our planet.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and although many don’t like the modern banking machine process, they are always on hand to assist. Herman in particular is very knowledgeable, efficient and has a tremendous memory for his clients.
Almost impossible to get to speak to a human, virtual agent does not understand English, difficult to understand online banking instructions, causes problems with ,remote printers, do not answer phone calls in good time. otherwise I can't remember,!!!
Members of staff are so rude.
This bank is a life saver. I had serious problems but Mark was so patient and worked a way out for me. Full marks to my branch. Other parts of the system let me down badly. HOORAY for Salisbury. Brian Grant
