The place to go if you're looking for Scottish Cuisine that extends beyond the usual Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Sure, Haggis is on the menu, but there's plenty on offer here that could give you a much more authentic picture of what Scottish food is really like, down to using what's in season. It's just away from the city centre enough to not make it too busy, especially if you take advantage of the early dining discount.

What a wonderful experience. The food was so tasty, with really strong flavours. The haggis particularly is a must have. Exceptional. But what really makes this place great are the staff. They are so welcoming, cheery and attentive and really make you feel special. Highly recommended

My fish main was one of the best I've had. My pickled herring starter was one of the worst pickled herring I've had. The sticky toffee pudding caramel was thinking n the bitter side. But 10/10 to serving staff great friendly service.

Came here for a lunch. Wanted to try some Scottish cuisine while in Edinburgh but my girlfriend is vegetarian so it can be hard to find decent options at traditional British restaurants. The veggie haggis was great though, as was my regular haggis. Everything was very flavourful, would definitely recommend! Good value for the lunch too.
