Impressive store, but entering on the ground floor the make up staff were very rude and unhelpful when asking for inventory directions. However, the experience improved as I ventured to the higher floors where the staff were much, much more helpful.

Just been shopping over the weekend and managed to do the majority of my Christmas shopping here. I have previously shopped here and couldn’t really find much but since it’s been taken over there seems to be a major improvement. The store itself is well set out and kept very clean and tidy and well staffed with hard working pleasant workers. Well worth a visit if you need some last minute gifts.

This used to be filled with high end and mid range brands. But not anymore being phased out and replaced by cheapness more like sports direct on each visit.

I was shocked by how staff poorly treat they customers there. I was there today with for VAT tax free lady who works in perfumery section was not bothered about service and I asked her where do you do Tax free returns? She didn’t know that’s fine I guess she must be new or work from agency. I found someone who seems like Management position I asked her politely same question she replied I DONT KNOW! and she walk away. I asked her if she works in the building she said YES. She said I’m busy now and she walked away. I mean seriously I thought it was very rude thing to do. I was very annoyed and I told her that I shopped in your store and this is how tou talk your customers?! It was rude! She finally said I think it might be 1, or 3rd floor then she walk away. Went to 1st floor asked lady from the till if it’s right place and she said yes but I have to go and find Manager from the shoe section?! Are you kidding me?? I looked around there is no body!! I finally found a lady who can politely do the Tax Return for me. Looked around staff seemed doesn’t bothered no approaching customers and it’s well deserted. I feel genuinely so sad that such a lovely located HOF Richmond Store have very poor customer service. Never going back to that place ever again!

Great place but heard that its shutting down.

Always loved this place but I recently spent £350 on a branded coat. I was asked if I wanted a bag, I did, I was charged 5p and got a plastic bag. Should of gone to Mark & Spencer over the road. It’s of a time that was great however it’s failed to keep up with a changing and challenging retail & high street market. Very sorry the wonderful employees who will likely become unemployed as a result.

This location is closing down! What a shame. I always liked coming here as they had a good amount of stock, and was never really that busy. Reason for closure I guess.

Sad to say, but it's obvious why department stores are dying. Limited stock. Limited service. You're better off going to a big mall like Kingston or Shepard's Bush.

It's totally chaotic in the shop as it is closing down. Big signs everywhere saying 20% off everything but when i went to pay I was told the items I selected were excluded from the sale. So a bit misleading. There were a few people in the shop not wearing masks and one lady became aggressive when I told her she should be wearing one. When I told the shop staff they just shrugged their shoulders
