Writing on behalf of someone - the staff have always been very abrupt and rude, even just in the manner of which they speak to you. My partner has been condescended and even shamed in an appointment that I supported him to rendering him feeling unable to go to the doctors when he needed treatment. It is hard enough for men in particular to seek help (as society often makes them feel weak if they do) so to have a doctor then reaffirm that by embarrassing him was totally wrong. Very insensitive. Thankfully we have now moved to fishponds and I cannot recommend the practice there enough, the receptionists are much kinder and sensitive and the doctors take your concerns seriously and treat you with respect and dignity.

Been here dozens of times over the past several years, and reached out to the mental health department for help and did not receive a positive experience and was prescribed medication which made me gain 4 stone in weight which put my BMI at a dangerous level, now my doctor is prescribing a low dose of the medication which has a positive effect on my life but Refuses to increase the dose to 5mg, which is so frustrating! I changed doctors to get better help but ended up getting worse! Now l won't go in the surgery unless l absolutely have to!

Can't fault the surgery on their handling of the vaccine program. An outstanding example of how to organise such an operation. Recieve text, pick a time, turn up and be seen within minutes of arriving. Very good.

This place suppose to HELP people. That exactly what they DON'T do. I had my "phone appointment" I was keep telling the doctor that I feel really unwell I have never had cough like this before. Doctor said it's an only "few days cold" without seeing me. I asked him few times to see me. He refused. I ended up in hospital with chest infection and pneumonia. But yeah.... just a few days cold...... They made up app, what suppose to help book appointment etc. Well.... you can't book appointment through the app and the GP phone is not active . Very helpful place. You can die sooner then get help from this place.

I'm mentally ill and need a certain medication every week which my doctor in his infinite wisdom decided that the way forward was to reduce the number of tablets every month, The only medication l've ever been prescribed that actually works for me is now being taken away from me by 1 tablet a month!!! The standard of UK Doctors is woefully sad, they just don't care, their patients health doesn't mean diddly squat!!! I've decided to Refuse the 3rd Covid Booster Jab! Because of this!

1/ 5

Read the comments below about a dictator practice manager and never a more accurate description! He is rude arrogant and allows the staff to act in such a way they treat patients with distain! Everything is an inconvenience, they hide behind Covid like a safety blanket to allow poor practice. I have never come across a more despicable group of people running a medical practice. People are starting to ask serious questions about the practice with simply too many patients to provide adequate care. Peter Maynard seems to relish in his executive trumped up position, justifying his importance by his over inflated little man syndrome. This has clearly rubbed off on many staff members who think they are exempt from polite demeanours and can talk to patients like rubbish. The partners must act and remove this poor practice management and ensure training in kindness and care is introduced. Patients must also have a fast track route to partners bypassing Mr Maynard, who cuts you off at every Avenue. The senior partners must take full responsibility.
