Loathsome experience. If you hire a van, take out extra insurance. I was clobbered with over £1000 excess after scraping a vehicle. Expensive error! To make it worse, classic unfeeling response from staff who could have made a difference if they gave a hoot. They didn't.

Terrible customer service. Jade, the 'manager', dealt with my booking, which he entered incorrectly on three occasions, meaning i was overcharged £70 on a 3 day rental (which Hertz did not refund). He was rude and uninterested when presented with the errors that he had made. Previously had a great experience here with Sandra, who sadly had left. Only gave two stars as the car was fine. But it is not worth the hassle trust me. Go elsewhere, as I will in future.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. 90 minutes before picking up my hire van told there were none and not to bother going to the office and that's it. Now over a week on I find that I have not yet been refunded for the NON HIRE. Even customer services, I laugh when I say that, are nigh on in-existant. NEVER AGAIN WITH HERTZ I WOULD RATHER WALK THAN USE THEM AGAIN. READERS BEWARE. THIS IS REAL AND NOT A FAKE OR JOKE POSTING AND I WOULD BE HAPPY TO DISCUSS THIS WITH ANYONE AND ANYBODY BUT THAT WOULD NOT CHANGE MY EXPERIENCE OR VIEW ON HERTZ
