Great experience. I have used Hertz for many years and this was one of the best experiences I have had. They were very busy but still I waited not more than 5 min. The car was clean and well maintained. The parking lot is a little hard to exit due to the number of cars tightly packed in but beyond that a great location!

Great, helpful and very friendly allround staff, Perhaps for me the best customer services I have received from a rental in a while. Terms and conditions well explained, the lady at desk wasn't trying to rip me off by forcing the extras you don't necessarily need on you. My favorite rental company from now on. Keep up the good work.

Booked our two week hire car through Hertz online. The depot was at terminal 4 but not really walking distance with large suitcases (6 minute walk) so there's a bus pick up service, which was prompt. They have us a brand new Vauxhall Corsa with 18 miles on the clock, to which we added another 1000! No problems whatsoever with the car. Checking it in was simple and there were no additional charge. Good overall service and reasonable cost.

Booked a car, collected a car, returned a car. All done very swiftly and efficiently at a fair price. Definitely a good experience.

Charging me 90 pounds UK for a tiny scratch on the hub cap — that I did not cause. Criminal. Do not use them. ...... update later: they corrected this, not charging me later. I improved my review rating because they later took the charge away.

I’ve been using this rental place for about 5 years now. I hardly ever have an issue, and when there are problems, they are resolved swiftly. The staff are very helpful and hard working. I’d highly recommend

For Hertz, check the small print and then ask for their booklet too, so that you are not charged double when returning your car. However, even those do not provide enough information. One poor guy was charged double for returning his car early!!! EARLY DOUBLE CHARGE. For me, it was nearly similar, and I also had to take a plane, so I couldn't do anything about it. The Guardian ran an article on Hertz about it.

Very smooth. A bit strange leaving the car with the keys in the ignition and walking away without the car being checked out. I took lots of photos to show it wasn't damaged just in case but didn't need them in the end. All worked like clockwork I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and a courtesy bus was waiting.

Our flight was delayed getting into LHR (2 hour delay). When we arrived, we had to wait for a car to be cleaned before we take possession. Because of the wait, I did not take pictures of the car before driving off the lot. I did walk around the car to verify there was not any significant damage to the car. When we returned the car 5 days later, nobody was around to check the car back in. I took a photo of the instrument cluster to show mileage and fuel quantity. Eventually, someone came out and looked at the left rear wheel and stated there was damage to the wheel. Yes, there was a very insignificant scratch to the wheel. I didn't scrub the wheels but I can't prove that the damage was not there when I picked it up as I did not take pictures. ALWAYS, ALWAYS take pictures of the car before driving off the lot at this location. Anyway, I returned the car with 5866 miles on the odometer. My invoice says the car had 10,866 miles on the odometer and I was charged for driving the car 900 miles. I might have driven the car 400 miles, well within the free mileage. Then I received an extra damage charge of $250 for a tiny scratch on the left rear wheel. Do not trust this location! They will try to over bill you for your rental!! Update: I sent the requested information but I have not had any response from Hertz regarding this claim. It has been 3 weeks and nothing. I have tried multiple avenues to get this addressed but all have failed. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ!!

Worse company in 2021 for renting a car. Basically this is what happened to me. I booked a car online and prepaid it taking advantage of the discount. I then later had to change the dates because of various flight changes. This happened a couple of times. I went to change it online, and they wouldn't let me do it, but stated I should call to do it. I called and the rental was changed, or at least I thought it was. The original date came and went and they charged my credit card for the rental and my reservation was lost. I called again and explained the problem, they said they would refund me in 5 business days. 5 days came and went and still no refund. So I called again, and they assured me that the refund was coming. Still no refund (20 days later). I also booked and prepaid for another rental with them for the date I was supposed to go. Anyway, I arrived in the UK and picked up my car. I was charged again for the full amount including the deposit. I didn't know this at the time because they give you a slip to leave with. Called them again, got multiple disconnects, eventually called AMEX and filed a dispute. Hertz customer server is very poor. All of this could have been avoided with a decent online experience, but their web site is so antiquated that it's incapable of allowing you to make any changes.
