Hertz bath

Booked a car online same day, but car wasn't available when we arrived. Be aware that it takes perhaps more than a day for them to process an online reservation. Staff did call other companies in Bath, but we were left without a car since they also didn't have a car. Beware online bookings aren't reliable. Best to call local office ahead.

Shocking service at Windsor road branch. Rude staff, lazy attitude, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Take your money to one of the numerous other car rental services who actually know how to treat customers and are actually professional. If I could give them 0* I would. Renting a car should be easy particularly when done online and when bringing all required ID. Not here.

Not sure why the other reviews were so harsh - we were in and out in 10mins, easy paperwork, good service from polite efficient staff, no pushy upselling of extras like at so many large car rental offices, vehicle is great. Highly recommended.

Never again ! We rent a car online and when we arrive in the morning, there was no car available for us at all and no trace of the booking. So we made a booking, paid online and didn't get the service we paid for. On top of that, the staff was rude and not helpful at all. This is unacceptable customer service. Run away !!

absolutely horrible, booked online on EXPEDIA picked up at heathrow , they didnt tell us that it was closed (since september) in bath to drop off was really inconvenient had to drop it off somwhere else , THIS PLACE IS CLOSED NOW , edit: thanks to neil for going out of his way to pick up the car and no extra costs

Good price for car hire!

Very disappointed to be charged an extra £34.28 for returning the car 10 minutes late! On day one, the car door mirror fell off. It was noted on the damage page, but had not been secured properly before I picked up the car. Fortunately it happened when the car was stationery, rather than at 70 mph on the motorway! I will not be going back to Hertz.
