I visited this garage today. I had a good visit to Audi next door and was escorted to the next door VW showroom. I walked around the smartly lit area once. Twice. Three times. At no time was I engaged or asked by the people in their, who were not with customers, on the phone or computer. I was watched and presumably as I walked out the front door. Never to return. Maybe their business is so good they don’t need new customers? Maybe their showroom has been paid for and don’t want visitors. I had a charming helpful visit to Audi, Toyota and Land Rover, all of whom knew the meaning and importance of customer service.

Never been to a more disrespectful company. Total disregard for customer service. Rude service staff and the parts department is always closed or no one in this area. Vw will be informed.

Fab service from start to finish. All of the staff we encountered were professional, friendly, patient and welcoming. A special mention for Lee and Ollie, who made the test drive, purchase and pick up of our car a pleasure from start to finish. I would not hesitate in recommending Heritage Salisbury to others. Thank you.

Pre arranged 24 hour demo after questionable communication skills trying to arrange, turn up to collect the car to be told the chap I am dealing with isn't in today, another customer didn't return the car I was meant to have a demo in, story then quickly changes to say the car I was meant to be using one of the staff who wasn't in today had! Mistakes happen, don't then try lie your way out of them. Was looking at purchasing to WV's - off to another branch! Should have trusted the poor Google reviews Heritage VW Salisbury already had.

Nice lady at reception the rest are useless what’s happened to good service.

Final edit. They found the intermittent fault on my car, ordered the part and fixed it and were extremely efficient and helpful throughout the process, so I have upgraded to 4 stars. The initial contact with them let them down. But latterly very impressed, thank you Edit: I have now been contacted by the Management Team, who were very apologetic and hopefuly will be able to help with my problem. We will see. I am awaiting a call back later today and update this review as appropriate, in due course. Was on hold for service for over 20minutes, although I was number one in the queue. I have an intermittent problem with my Tiguan, which I purchased at Salisbury, and wanted to speak to service about how it might be resolved. I spoke to a lady in "bookings" who said "technical information wasn't given out on the phone"! She was very abrupt and not at all helpful. Basically either I wanted to book it in or I didn't - well I didn't.

Service queries are put through to a call centre which doesn't answer phone. Am so very fed up with this, wont buy another vw if I cant get it serviced. Do they want the work?

After not even getting a response to my enquiry at Gloucester and my enquiry being dealt with less that satisfactory at Dorchester, dealing with Salisbury was a breath of fresh air. When I called to speak to someone the receptionist explained both salesmen were with customers but they would call me back and sure enough within the hour Jonny had called. I knew exactly what I wanted, a pre reg white Polo and that’s exactly what Jonny sorted for me. I travelled from Poole and sorted the p/x of my older polo and purchasing the new one in under an hour. Both Jonny and Danny were fantastic, real assets to your team. Thank you Jonny & Danny :)

Terry and the master mechanic (MM) were nothing short of brilliant to me and my wife. We were on holiday in Salisbury with a caravan 1.5 tonne. The EPC light came on my Tiguan. This meant you could only go uphill at 30mph. We were due to go home in two days. Terry got the MM to look at it and after diagnostics of about 1.5hrs , it became apparent it was the fuel sensor. Terry booked us in for first thing in the morning and we had the car back with a new sensor by 12:30pm. Wonderful service when you really need it. I hope you, the team and mechanic like the chocolates .😋👍
