Very nice and friendly but I could tell they were rushed. My nails aren't very neat. Very wonky. And we were charged an extra $25 🙁 wouldn't go back. They feel fragile as if they could break off at any second. My nails never usually feel like this after acrylics. There's a lot of excess acrylic under the nails that I would have to take off myself.

My sister and I are visiting Yeppoon and went to Helen’s Nails for standard pedicure spa. The leg scrubs and masks were good (3/5), the foot massage was great (5/5) but the quality of the shellac was really not good. Uneven coats, exposed nail (after 3 coats??) and it really quickly chipped off. I have never had this issue with shellac before. I’d try the other nail venues around Yeppoon and Rockhampton before coming back here again.

EDIT: Am pleased to say i returned the next day to ask for my nails to be redone and had no hassle. Owner was very apologetic and was done within the hour. Much better work. *****Second time here. 1st time was great and no complaints. 2nd time, not so much. Didn't check until i got home but nails are lumpy, patchy and uneven after 3 hours in the chair. Waste of time and money.

Okay service. Nails were wonky and they tried to charge me extra for things they previously hadn’t. Wanted to go here to help support the business but I am disappointed. Things that are free of charge in all other salons are an extra 5-10 dollars more here. I know businesses are struggling due the closures but this was a bit extreme.
