Please avoid, unless you’re desperate. I had to stay here on short notice and the receptionist was VERY RUDE (she followed us to our room to make sure less than 4 people were staying.), the place was fairly unclean/untidy and the room was below par. Thank God, the beds were fine.

Comfort bad, restaurant great, very friendly. The bed was right up against the heater which was on full all night. It was so hot and the pillows and bed was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep. The food was really good, very tasty. The owners (?) are new and they were very friendly and lovely. Looks to have had a recent partial make over and needs more work but for the price, it's great.

Absolutely terrible, me and my mother stayed there for 5-6 hours shivering cold with no heating. One am came to 'fix' it and said '30 minutes' we waited for so long and yet it still wasn't working. The water wasn't warm to take a shower or wash your hands. The heating man literally left puddles of water beside the bed and didn't even clear it up. We knew we couldn't even sped 1 night there. We wanted a refund but one lady said 'sorry we don't do refunds'. My mother was absolutely angry as she spent over £100 there. DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could rate this a minus I would honestly.

ABSOLOUTELY DISGRACEFUL - Paid £470 for 6 night stay, arrived to find someone else's blood in the bed!!!!!!!!!! and then what looked like sick in the shower. We left and found alternate accommodation after staying 1 night, in which I then contacted the hotel Manager, who by the way seems to have more days off than i've had hot dinners. I Requested a refund, as in my opinion the hotel should be taking money off people when its hygiene standards are so below average, which I was told was never going to happen, despite attaching pictures of the blood stained bed and sick in shower. DO NOT STAY HERE .... Unless you have a Tetanus shot.
