Went on a Sunday so it was fairly quite. Had dynamite prawns, the ultimate fish burger and a large coke. Service was pretty quick and the food was good. Dynamite prawns being the highlight. The burger itself was pretty good. Not too expensive for what you get as chips and coleslaw provided.

I really liked this place and it was very appealing. It sits in the middle of the Brighton beach. Their service was okay and more from the manager who was endearing. They serve mostly anything to do with the traditional fish and chips. Well cooked. Maybe could of done with some white bread, a little more atmosphere and table care. But overall, decent fish and chips.

They will not serve a chip butty or chip roll. They will give you a roll, butter in a small wrapper and a separate portion of chips. They WILL NOT put it together! It's tantamount to insisting you put the chips in the paper, take the pickled eggs about of the jar and serve your own savaloy! Perhaps I should also provide my own chip fat, potatoes, vinegar and salt! Better off going to a small local chippy.

I gave 3 stars doesn't mean I dislike the place. I like it, but there's nothing too special about it. The fish tasted fresh, so that's the best thing about it. The rest is just so-so. This place is always super crowded! It's going to be a challenge if you come here in a big group without any reservation. The service is fine, although a bit slow.

Harry Ramsden's in Brighton serves one of the most delectable fish and chips. The amicable staff, the ambience and the view from the restaurant adds to its charm. They have a decent dessert menu (bread butter pudding being my favourite) and a excellent deal for seniors too. You can relax with a glass of beer or stimulate yourself with a pot of Yorkshire tea. If you are in Brighton (UK), this is a must visit restaurant.

Simple yet enjoyable place. Good for informal dinners with friends. Don't expect fancy dishes. The place and the food is a bit basic in quality and presentation. But prices and quantity are OK for a seated restaurant. If you're just interested in trying fish and chips perhaps any of the dozens fast-food shops in Brighton would do the same job.

Such a lovely visit! The staff were so good and very welcoming. We thought to try the over 60's meal. Plus added two glasses of wine. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It finished off a good day out. And we will definitely return.

Food was absolutely fantastic and fresh. Classic cod and haddock are both to recommend! Also - cheap and nice cocktails (£4.95) that were delicious. All can be ordered through their website for table service by scanning a QR code at the table. Waiter was super friendly and helpful!
