Grand Hotel Sunderland – sunderland

Stayed here a couple of times. Nice position on seafront. Comfortable with good facilities on site and nearby. Safe parking is very handy. Irritating phone system when you try to call though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent, beds comfortable, bathroom with shower and bath. Sea view, large smart tv. Staff are friendly and efficient, dinner was delicious. Glad you are open again and looking forward to another visit.

The members of staff where very polite when I came in for a interview with the manager and the place has a good rating

Great enjoyed my stay will go back perfectly situated. Love Sunderland. Shame I was there for work .. but enjoyed the walks.

Great staff, rooms and value for money.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and polite. We had a lexx twin room which was comfortable. Has luck had it we had a sea view. Maybe we were lucky. The hotel is on the seafront. We felt that the breakfast was disappointing. Apart from that one issue we enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

Simple this. Beautiful location. Airy clean hotel. Staff just the best. Friendly and smiling . Rooms big and fully kitted. Food excellent. Probably the best value hotel I've come across, and they are pet friendly to boot. Excellent place. Can't recommend highly enough

The grand is in an ideal location. There is a local bus right outside to Sunderland station. Plenty restaurants near by and a morrisons down the road. Beautiful sea views. The staff were really lovely. The room was spacious although furniture was slightly dated. Tea and coffee in the room and nice toiletries in the spacious bathroom. It was a lovely place to stay and would certainly stay there again.

Nice place to stay, had a room with the sea view which was totally worth it in the morning as we could watch the sunrise from the bed. Place wasn't that busy so had a nice breakfast aswel. Definitely would recommend

Very good location. Amazing view from the room's windows. Clean, polite staff, facilities good but for 2 persons, they provide only 1mini size of soap, shampoo and gel which is definitely not enough for 2. Also I wish there is hair dryer. For the breakfast, we had book for 9.30am but unfortunately we had to wait 10 mins because there was nothing left such as hash browns, scramble eggs, fry eggs, mushroom, beans, croissant, milk, tea even no breads. For the price, they Need to improve.
