I heard great things about this GP practice, and now I can recommend it myself! The registration process was very easy and they are very accommodating with appointments. My doctor was also very knowledgeable and discreet. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

New patient and only needed to see doctor 3 times so far, 2 different females doctors. Unfortunately i was under impression that both of them were not very happy doing their job! Lack of understanding of the problem and rude attitude. I thought that doctor should always work with the patients and listen to their needs and concerns. At my last appointment I was told that I was rude just for asking common sense questions in relation to my health problems. Huge lack of empathy and understanding....not keen on giving you advice or show any kind of support. (I can't comment, I am not specialist, pain killers should help!!! Maybe time for some training or career change! I do not recommend this place but personally I will try one more time. God help me! Looks like only private practice is the way forward, sad!!!

This place is appaling. The receptionists never look happy. When coming in for your appointment there is a screen where you have put your DOB and is visible yo everyone waiting. That in itself is GDPR data breach. Time to report them to ICO..I wonder if Gordonhouse NHS have the funding to pay the fine.

I am a patient at this surgery, on 4th February around 1pm a staff member of Gordon house surgery claimed he was an Illegal worker who was apparently employed by this surgery 2years ago. I am absolutely disgusted by what I witnessed and felt very worried for the safety of my children and also my records. Luckily I managed to record a short clip of this incident. I will be reporting this matter to the relevant authorities for it to be investigated as to why they recruited illegal workers.

I joined this surgery a few months ago when I moved back to the area and have been so impressed with the care and service. The staff are proactive and responsive when it comes to concerns about both my baby and myself; they show empathy and personal care whilst being efficient. I’ve also found the receptionists more friendly and competent than previous surgeries I’ve visited. I thought it was important to share my positive review as I’ve been so grateful, especially after hearing friends’ recent experiences elsewhere.

I have been a patient at this practice for over 40 years, and have therefore come into contact with many staff members during this period. With very few exceptions, I have always had very good care. When I have had issues, these have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. I have had my favourite doctors over the years, and once a relationship has been established, I have always felt that I have been listened to and treated as an individual. We are extremely lucky in this country to have such a wonderful NHS.

The staff here are always very friendly and helpful (especially Cathy). She has known our family for a number of years and always goes above and beyond to help. I phone the surgery on behalf of my brother and am amazed how quick the phone is answered. My local GP also has a queuing system and when calling at 8am in the morning you are immediately placed at number 40 in the queue. By the time the call is answered there are no more appts for that day and you have to call back the next day!!! So well done team you are a credit to the surgery.

I wish I can give zero star. Receptionist are so rude and lazy. Don't want to do anything just reply no no no to patients. They are just busy with talking among their staff. I wish I can pay some money and receive better service. Whenever you are in pain or sick they just prescribe a painkiller or ask you to buy over the counter. There are so many thieves in this country. I am not blaming hard working NHS staffs.
