Ghost Hunt of York york

Great value for money. Really entertaining with laughter and spooky stories. The guide made sure everyone could hear and see him. I would recommend to others. There was approx. 40 in the group and it took about 1 hrs 45 minutes. Great entertainment.

Entertaining walk. Nice size group. Spooky but not terrifying so it's ok if you get frightened easily. He was a friendly guy, looked after us even in the cold! We joined from the shambles.

I was not impressed by this walk. There were 5 stops and one of these stops was to entertain people in an Italian restaurant which was pointless, unrelated to the advertised walk and had us standing still on a cold evening for nearly 10 minutes. The gentleman who led the walk did not give any information on the streets or alleys that we passed through other that “grope Road” which he mentioned before we set off. The first “haunted” stop ended with him throwing a glass of water over us - as it is literally freezing (2 degrees) this was not appreciated. There was nothing scary at all about the walk although he did the usual trick of being very still and then shouting loudly in a person’s face. I did not feel, at the end of 55 minutes, that I knew anymore about York, or it’s dark past.

Good early evening entertainment. Well worth putting on your 'to-do' list when you visit York.

Great tour, excellent guide very enthusiastic, really kept in character and was funny. It was very cold though standing outside for about an hour so if you are visiting in winter months I would definitely recommend you wrap up warm! Very entertaining though and would highly recommend

Our ghost., Sorry host was absolutely brilliant, scary at times but brilliant. Some fantastic stories being told. I would highly recommend anyone visiting York to make a booking with ghost Hunt of York.

The tour was entertaining, factual and quick paced. Stopping off at 5 different ghost sightings, the audience were involved, it was very funny and also very sad regarding the stories being told. Definitely worth booking onto.

A must if you are visiting the most hunted city in England! We had so much fun while learning about the local ghost tales and stories. The guide is always in character, and knows perfectly how to handle crowds, making sure everyone can see and listen.

Very fun experience with a wonderful tour guide. He is very good at telling the stories and interacting with the audience. I only wish the stories were scarier and it lasted longer! Sorry for the bad photo, it was taken in a rush as I wanted to hear what he was saying. 10/10 for the garb
