I was not impressed by this walk. There were 5 stops and one of these stops was to entertain people in an Italian restaurant which was pointless, unrelated to the advertised walk and had us standing still on a cold evening for nearly 10 minutes. The gentleman who led the walk did not give any information on the streets or alleys that we passed through other that “grope Road” which he mentioned before we set off. The first “haunted” stop ended with him throwing a glass of water over us - as it is literally freezing (2 degrees) this was not appreciated.
There was nothing scary at all about the walk although he did the usual trick of being very still and then shouting loudly in a person’s face.
I did not feel, at the end of 55 minutes, that I knew anymore about York, or it’s dark past.
