I had my hair done there about 1 month ago, and it was a very mixed experience. The owner and other stylists apart from my own were all very friendly and warm. My partner's hair was cut on the same day by the owner and it was absolutely great. The owner was patient and focused and listened and explained well. My stylist Caitlin, unfortunately, made it very clear that she was not interested in me or my hair. She was literally looking out the window or talking to other stylists AS she was making the cuts of my hair and barely spoke to me. She gave me the opposite of what I asked and it was very uneven, and an all around poor cut. I had to ask her to fix the unevenness which she showed a real lack of enthusiasm to do. She started styling it before I had a chance to OK it, and then because she hadn't bothered to gauge my hair texture, loaded it with so much product that I looked like I hadn't washed my hair in a month because it was so greasy, so I had to change my plans to rush home and wash it. She seemed very immature and wearing a skin tight mini dress and made uncomfortable comments about how my hair was going up her dress. I had to make another appointment elsewhere and spend more on trying to correct her mistakes. Unfortunately, despite the other stylists apparent professionalism and skill, I would not feel comfortable to return to the salon.

I had a fantastic experience at Gaudi Hair. My stylist was Leah and she made me feel at ease right away. She could tell I was a little apprehensive about having a fair bit of hair chopped off so did it very gradually, checking I was happy as we went along. Perfect amount of conversation too, couldn't fault the whole experience and it's the happiest I've been after a cut in a long time! Lovely touch having a glass of wine on the drinks menu too :-). Will definitely be returning!! x

Fantastic place Went for the first time today having recently moved to Bristol. Caitlin listened to what I wanted, understood, and then did a great job of cutting my hair. I generally get nervous when I go to a new hairdresser because I have had one too many bad experiences of barbers doing a hatchet job on my hair! This was the exact opposite. She took great care to get it right, communicated with me throughout, and asked for my input at key points. Caitlin clearly knows her craft and is clearly very skilled I went away really happy, with great hair, and safe in the knowledge that I don't need to try anywhere else. Thanks

Amazing experience. I had a perm with Caitlin and was very nervous as I'd had a previous perm from a different salon and hated it. We had a consultation and a strand test so I could see how it would turn out on my hair which was very reassuring. Clearly the stylists have excellent knowledge and experience. I also had a conditioning treatment that was recommended which has made my hair so soft. I love how my hair has turned out! Also, very relaxed environment with lots of refreshments, definitely recommend

I needed someone to cut and style my very long hair which I had left to grow after my previous barber had closed his business. I found Maisie at Gaudi who did the job as I requested. She was very friendly and I was very pleased with the result. Maisie also gave me advice on how to look after my hair. I will definitely return.

The place was great! I had a haircut by Caitlin. She was really nice, showed me all the products she was using and how to use them. She understood curls very well. I’m always scared of hairdressers not understanding curly hair and chopping too much or cutting it as if it was straight, but she was great, listened to what I wanted and suggested what she thought would look best as per my request. Will be going back.

Had a really nice experience with Lola. Made me feel really comfortable and we spent about 10 minutes discussing in detail what I wanted and made sure I was happy with it. Talked me through every step and what she was doing and asked me if I was happy with what she’d done a lot to make sure I liked it. Really happy with my new haircut and she styled it perfectly at the end thank you!
