Went in with my eye swollen shut and turned away until I book an appointment that they don't do at the desk. Got one and they don't know what's the cause so done swabs and tests and booked me in a week later for results. The week later, still swollen, medication provided hasn't done anything I sat waiting 5 hours past my appointment time where most of the staff even went home. Finally got seen to be told results haven't been analysed yet and will be in touch when they are. These 2 trips cot £17 in the car park and £18 in medication that hasn't worked. A month later, still no phone call and they don't answer the phone on their end. Why should I walk in there for results and pay another £8 car park and sit there for 5 hours with no appointment.

What an absolute shambles. Contacted by them at 14:20 to cancel an appointment scheduled at 15:30 the same day. I guess that consultant likes to play golf on a Friday and suddenly had to call in "sick". What a joke!

Disgusting! My husband went there with an eye so infected that he could hardly open it and was turned away! He'd already spoken to a GP but as it was a weekend he couldn't go back to them. He was sent home after being told he had to phone to make an appointment. He did this and was triaged over the phone and given antibiotics- without any investigation on what caused the infection. On top of all this he was charged £2.80 for parking. You should all be ashamed of yourselves UHCW!

Gold Standard treatment. I don't know how to fully express my gratitude to the team (including the HCA who gave me my drops, the X-ray technician and of course the Consultant Miss Rynn) who looked after me, in April, especially the Registrar George. Eventhough they must have been under immense pressure due to Lockdown, they were not only professional and thorough but they were also incredibly kind, warm and easy to talk to. At the end of the appointment I was given upsetting news...a Cancer diagnosis. But even under the dazed, surreal feeling of hearing the "C" word, I felt cared about, like they were genuinely sorry to be giving me bad news. It is sometimes hard to keep your heart and spirit when you work for the NHS but I was incredibly lucky to have been looked after by George and the team. What you do, matters to people like me. Thank you.

Not really any help. Got a problem in my eye for nearly over 2 months. I've contacted my GP multiple times to discuss this but they are useless so my GP told me to contact eye casualty and oh my they are not even interested in seeing you they just tell you to go back to your GP. How can anyone help me if the problem is going back and forth!
