Judging by the other reviews, Ewemove clearly put all of their effort into sales which takes away from lettings/tenants. Having just ended a 2.5yr tenancy with Ewemove Salisbury (formerly Martin & Co), unfortunately almost every interaction, which I kept to a minimum, required more effort than necessary even when it was a simple task. The 1 star may seem harsh but this has stemmed from the most serious and frustrating of the incidents with these letting agents - they left my flat unlocked. Following an inspection which took place when I was away, the flat was left unlocked by the agent (voiding my insurance should something have happened) and as I was away, it remained unlocked for several days. Sadly there were numerous instances where simple requests or tasks required multiple chasing emails, visits to the shop, and generally took far longer than it should have. I could list several but this review is already long enough. I will leave you with the most recent - I gave Ewemove 4 weeks notice of my leaving, as required, and they did not organise the checkout process until 3 days before my move-out date, despite several chasing emails. It was finally sorted as I attended the shop and cornered them into doing something! They then proceeded to send the landlord a 47 page document detailing 'issues' regarding amount of deposit to return, which thankfully my landlord disagreed with, and overruled to return it in full. It then took Ewemove 2 weeks to process the return of my deposit, despite (again) several chasing emails as the significant amount of money was needed for the next property, but they didn't seem to really care! Both my (ex-)landlord and I are glad to see the back of Ewemove, unfortunately I think they are understaffed in Salisbury and/or 'neglect' lettings/tenants even though it's a whole section of the business. It's a shame!
