I was booked in to view a house today in an area we are wanting to move to. Myself and my partner had booked leave from work so we could meet the requirements of the seller and view during the the day., this was due to the owner being an older seller who didnt want people attending when it got dark. I got a phone call from entwistle at 16.45 yesterday to cancel for today. This was to late to canvel my leave. I was told i needed to be in better position that i was in a chain, when previously when i rang i got told i wasnt because i had sold my house. When i originally rang they registered me and asked my price bracket to which they offered me a house on market for 60,000 more than i said i could afford. I suppose that she couldnt hear me as she sounded like she had a mouthful of food when i rang and i had to double check id rang the correct number. Absolutely shocked at the poor proffesionalism of this estate agents.

I purchased a property advertised through this company and my experience was great. All the people working in the Allerton branch were so helpful and attentive. Regular check-ins. Updates. Helpful and going beyond what was usual to progress the sale. Honestly, if I was going to sell in the future or if I am going to purchase another property, I’d want it to go through this branch.
