Elliot Hall Medical Center is a fantastic GP surgery! The doctors are knowledgeable and accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are organised and reliable. I am very pleased with how they take care of my parents.
This practice is excellent. The doctors, receptionists, phlebotomists and administration staff are all very efficient and caring. I have an elderly mother so I visit the surgery quite often with her. I cannot fault the staff. They are without exception, kind, thoughtful, thorough and professional. A 5 star practice. Thank you.
Absolutely horrendous service. Extremely rude staff. The person in question is Parminder Singh. I was 5 minutes for my appointment as I had to walk to the surgery with a young child. I was very rudely asked to rebook as I was 5 mins late. This from a surgery where you are never called for an appointment without having waited for ages. No one seems to mind if patients have to wait, most of the time not even an apology is offered. I am glad I was asked to rebook, I wouldn’ t want to be treated by a person who is so rude, it’s surprising that a person who is so rude and inconsiderate is in the medical profession. If the surgery is so particular about being on time it should apply to both the doctors and the patients and not just the patients. Extremely disappointed as I need to take another day off from work for another appointment. May be it’s time to find a new surgery instead.
Can book an appoinment quickly and have never had to wait long for an appointment when I get there. Staff are friendly, doctors are lovely
Pretty awful practice. Arrogant and rude. They say they will do something and then don’t but also don’t keep you informed. I moved out of hatch end and was told I had 30 days to still be registered with Elliot hall while I found a new practice but they actually de-registered me within two days so I was left without a GP. When contacted all they kept saying was ‘you have been de-registered and your records have been sent back to the central office’. Nothing else - just that on repeat - yet they also keep sending me text messages about their Christmas coffee morning and asking for donations. I’ve lived in hatch end for 7 years and only been to the GP once because I’m healthy, so when I do ask for help it’s because it’s really needed. That said - Elliot Hall isn’t the place to go for any kind of care in my experience.
6 stars only at Jackie such hardworking person, all the rest of the receptionists can't be bothered to help you. They just answer on the phone and say you can go on Econsult app, awful awful and awful! Jackie deserves double pay because she works for 2 receptionists 🥇🥇🥇
This used to be such a good surgery. Unfortunately, as with some other surgeries, very little f2f, which is quite worrying for the patient. Too much referral on to hospital services which is clogging up services there. Wonder how many of the staff are still not eating out or going to bars or shows?? If they have officially or permanently changed their modus operandi then the patients need to be informed.
After being away at university for four years I was looking to re-register with the practice. The staff said that I was outside the catchment area, despite me re-registering with the same address as previously and multiple of my family members being registered with the practice at the same address. They only told me this after making me fill out the 16 page registration form. Complete waste of time and a policy which makes no sense!?
Impossible to get through on phone and clunky self serving Web site- patient care seems low priority in respect of contact with the practice.
