Characterful and tasty restaurant, with authentic Mediterranean flavours! Most dishes are cooked on the roaring wood-fired barbecue that's a fun focal point in the restaurant. We ordered the set menu each, which is a great way to sample little gems across the entire menu, if you can't quite make up your mind on one dish. The restaurant is usually full, indicating its popularity. Probably not the widest of choices though if you're a vegetarian!

Great food and service. We really enjoy our visits here as a family. They easily cater for a family member who is gluten intolerant. The team here are just so friendly and the food is freshly cooked on the grill and is really good and tasty. Would recommend them as one of the best little restaurants in Cambridge.

Efes not only has the best Turkish food in Cambridge, it's also one of the best restaurants in the city. It's a Cambridge institution. The food is consistently excellent (love the kofte kebab) and always good value for money. Simple and delicious. Service is super friendly and helpful with a nice atmosphere and a great vibe. We make sure to book as it is quite popular. A fun, casual spot for a date night!

It was just a perfect night. Myself I haven't been over there for at least 16 years and I forgotten how A-mazing the meat are all that flavours in some of them, the tenderness, just a explosions of flavours in your mouth. The started was lovely enough. The wine keep us warm and happy but to be honest been sitting so close to the grill that is enough to lose some weight as it does feel you are in sauna. So bless them for working with that hard temperature to give us an a great culinary experience. All this family works hard and they just get 1 day off per week so they can keep the serving us 7 days per week ...

Consistently good, every single time. Nothing here is trying to be too clever - it's exactly what you would expect from a Turkish restaurant. My favourite place to eat out in Cambridge.
