Excellent facilities. Really worth a visit! More than just a gym, this hub is really buzzing. From coffee mornings fitness week events! Staff are amazing, helpful and extremely knowledgable. There’s a whole new management team. Highly recommend the steam room and spa facilities plus as a member I got £100 worth of vouchers and 10% off in the sports store upstairs. Brilliant.

Great staff but rare that both spa pools work at same time. Showers go hot and cold. Spa and changing rooms in massive need of upgrade. Equipment is really good and atmosphere in gym good too. Worth the money but I would rather pay a bit extra and have the spa brought upto the same high standards of the training facilities.

An honest review.. lovely staff, great atmosphere, well looked after gym facilities and it’s never over crowded. Food available yet have never tried it, ample parking, decent pool, changing rooms/showers fairly decent with plenty of lockers and well cared for through the day. Let downs.. steam room is inconsistent. It runs on a cycle and if its not at peak within your visit window then just expect a moderately damp and warm room. The hot tubs are ok when they work. All in all.. well worth the value in my opinion Sadly.. Fitness first is currently offering a free PT Session for any 5* google review. Worth upto £60. I may be a minority but I find that underhand and misleading to future custom. Don’t expect 5*.. close, but no cigar.

Used to be OK. But never improves and seems to be getting worse. Machines get faulty and say faulty for weeks. As you can see by pictures, equipment is tired and worn. Not replaced. Been like this for months. WiFi hasn't been working for over a week. Spoke to staff today and once they'd finished their personal conversation they said "it's working". While looking at the probably wired PC. Well it's not as I'm having to connect to the Sports Direct building upstairs. Male changing rooms are dirty and worn out. Must be 20 years old at least. Cancelled my membership today.

Joined about 5 weeks ago now and I've been made to feel very welcome and at ease by the staff not sure on all the names but 2 that have stood out are Charlotte and Olly. Especially Charlotte she as gone above and beyond to help in any way needed. I have witnessed fast action when anything is brought to there attention. I use the pool and it's always clean and a nice temperature also the steam room. Covid safety seems to be adhered too. Been in the gym to supervise my daughter and all the equipment is clean and is wiped down after every use. I feel very safe coming here and would highly recommend to anyone. Great team work thank you guys.

Recently re-joined this gym, and I’m pretty impressed with the refurbishment in the gym. I haven’t been a member here since about 6/7 years ago and it was DW fitness. But they’ve really done a lot with the gym, it’s absolutely massive, and loads of different equipment. It’s not a pretentious place either, like some gyms can be really pretentious and intimidating, but it’s pretty chilled here. Only criticism I would have, is they haven’t done much with the pool or changing rooms, and they do seem a little neglected. They’re clean, just old and run down, but it hasn’t put me off. If your wanting a decent gym to get your workouts in, and maybe a cheeky swim, but don’t want to pay over the odds for it, then definitely give this place a go. The upstairs weight room is now a boot camp room, and is perfect for some decent HIit sessions.
