Dubbo Acupuncture & Carter Chiropractic – dubbo

I honestly wish I could use no stars. I went to the acupuncturist raisia. To start with she was 45 minutes late. As in I booked an appointment at 8am and she wasn’t there till 845am. Not in the building. Her bedside manner was horrible short abrupt unkind. She was hopeless. Then she left me with the needles in for a little bit (she didn’t tell me how long)and at the end I had to get up and 5 minutes later she came in and yelled at me that I had moved the needles. She didn’t listen to me and stated if I came in everyday to her she’d get me in labour. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I went to Raisa for acupuncture on frozen shoulder. I was told that 1st appointment would be 1.5 hrs. so that she could take a thorough history. I was very disappointed-she had very little interest in my history. She was short & abrupt in her manner. If Raisa was a doctor I would give her bedside manner a -1/10. She didn't appear to know what a frozen shoulder was & said so you have a sore shoulder? I took x-ray & ultrasound reports - she again was not really interested in them. Her main interest seemed to be in telling me about all her customers that come from all over Australia and selling me her Chinese herbs and oils. The oil I cannot use as I have a skin condition that I found after using it irritates. When asking Raisa if the Chinese herbs would interact w my prescription medication - I was told that Chinese herbs are taken on empty stomach and prescription medication is taken w food …like it was a ridiculous question. There were several RED flags that I ignored as she claimed she could cure my shoulder, my menopause and every other ailment I had & was on medication for. I wish I had walked out when she showed annoyance when I had to ask her to repeated exercises she asked me to do. I was told that she could cure my SORE shoulder if "I made a commitment to my health and came every day for 2 week". Funnily enough no money back guarantee was mentioned by Raisa. I foolishly spent $90 on consult, $40 cash on snake oil that irritates my skin, and $160 on Chinese herbs, which I have ceased taking as my doctor suspects that they are interacting me prescription medication. I work in health and if i spoke to patients they way she spoke, I would not have a job & rightly so. Negative Experience! Would definitely not go back. I was gullible, because I was desperate to get my shoulder right. The only nice thing I have to say is that the reception staff were lovely.

I attend Carter Chiropractic Often Being a tradesmen with a Bad back. I have never had a bad experience here. Very polite staff with a very professional attitude. I could not recommend This business high enough.

The service and level of expertise was exceptional. Hands down the best acupuncture I've had! The staff were so friendly and I was beyond impressed.
