I had a painful hip problem that was instantly diagnosed by Ann (after seekng other treatments that only temporarily gave relief.) Ann recommended Pilates with her young colleague, Alex Humphrys. After several months of interrupted sleep, following a consultation with Alex and a course of Pilates, I had great relief almost immediately and after 6 weeks, total lasting relief. In the course of the Pilates, Alex also solved other concerns I had; she identified the causes and incorporated additional simple exercises. My treatment ended 7 months ago due to my going overseas for an extended period. Im not only pain free, but my posture and gait are permanently changed (which rectified my other problems completely) and my balance is now fabulous. Alex is highly skilled, very knowledgeable and communicates extremely well.
