A once great big house, now transformed into a cosy drama school that picks up on the homey atmosphere, and enhances it. It is like a second home to me, and the people I met there - for better or worse - are like family.

My daughter studies here and is experiencing world class training with industry professionals. She has had acting for TV taught by Eastenders directors, voice by well known actors and been directed by real directors. We have been highly impressed. It has been a terrible time for young people during lockdown but DSL have carried on on Zoom providing training. When she leaves, she will be prepared for anything!!

Best year ever studying here. Fabulous lecturers with hands on industry experience (1994-95). Peter Leyton was a sterling principal whom championed the arts. Made friends for life. Ever grateful for my scholarship, thank you.
