This is one of the worst GP Practices I have ever visited. I attempted to get registered as a temporary patient and was given incorrect forms (for permanent patients). Upon attempting to return the forms, I was seen by a receptionist in a confrontational manner stating that the forms I had completed were for permanent patients only and that I had to fill in my NHS number. I am then called weird for calling out her additional statement of data protection as to when I asked if the forms could be taken and my actual practice be contacted for my NHS Number. Due to my mental health issues, which were clearly stated on the forms, to be called ‘weird’ is not something that should be said to a patient who is in such a state and I would have hoped that a person representing the practice would not show such abhorrent behaviour to a member of the public. She also had the nerve to state to her Practice Manager that I intimidated her and this is something that I totally deny. When a person is attempting to access help from primary care, one would expect a certain level of care and respect. I WOULD URGE ANYONE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES NOT TO ATTEMPT TO GET HELP FROM THIS PRACTICE. This issue has been formally raised with NHS England, however, I would want others to see what to expect from this practice if they need medical assistance. Contact another practice, as the frontline reception staff of this surgery, have a disgusting and despicable attitude.
