Very friendly staff, busy as any other surgery but more staff now then 3-4 years ago and Doctors with great level of experience.

Extremely hard to get an appointment, phone is constantly busy, actually going in just to make an appointment is sometimes the only option, which can be inconvenient and sometimes unhelpful. Limited practitioners that have empathy for the situation you go in for, and not garantueed that you'll be able to see the practitioner that you feel most comfortable with. Would not recommend.

Dr Wood himself is an experienced practitioner, who can be short and rather frank at times, but does get the job done. However some of the other General Practitioners seem uninterested, uncaring and incredibly unhelpful. Their lack of telephone queuing system makes actually getting in touch with them incredibly difficult, and with the sheer volume of calls they get it would make sense to employ a more streamlined telephone system so people don't have to keep calling to get in touch. I dialled the number 48 times to get in touch with someone, it shouldn't be a potluck who gets to see a doctor. However, the more senior receptionists and nurses are friendly and helpful.

Almost impossible to get an appointment even for a young child. If any practice summaries the state of the nhs it’s this one.

I been with Dr.Wood and Partners for 24 years and I wouldn't change them for anything, Dr.wood reminds me to a Victorian era doctor but is a very kind and experienced man in his field, excellent staff, excellent building, excellent health care for people of all ages

Not the best at times some of the receptionist think there the doctor in lockdown they were none existing couldn’t even get kids for a appointment even now there still not seeing patients the surgery has been a let down

Very disappointing! I was referred to this GP from my local Surgery (assuming there is an influx in patient numbers) and I was expecting a call to discuss a referral to a specialist this evening between 6pm and 8pm. (I had rescheduled my tutoring to receive the call) I received two 'prank' calls withing 1 minute of each other (the phone was in my hand and as soon as it rung, the GP hung up!) I am not happy nor impressed.

Always impossible to book an appointment with the doctor, had to go urgent care every time something was wrong. The receptionist doesn't want to take extra time to speak to you and understand what actually happened. You could 100% find a better clinic where they actually care about you.

Great doctor's. Very accommodating when needing a same day appointment. Would definitely recommend this practice.
