By far one of the best GP surgeries in Luton! The receptionists are fantastic and so helpful, with every enquiry and call. The doctors a approachable and listen to all your concerns and support you. I have recently had both face to face consultations and telephone consultations with the Gp's, they are efficient and professional. I cant fault this surgery at all.

Booking an appointment is a pain no matter how hard you try you'll end up going to walking centre at the end every time. What's the point of being registered with them

Unprofessional and a total waste of time. My wife had made a complaint regarding their poor customer service and The Manager Teerath still hasn't responded to the complaint. They responded by informing us that we were no longer in their catchment area and that we were being removed from their records, despite the fact we had informed them of our change of address 18 month prior and they didn't update their records resulting in our post being sent to our previous address. My wife informed them that she was pregnant, yet they did not care and still persisted in removing us from their database. We informed our midwife, and she said that this was totally irresponsible and should not have happened as it would have caused untold stress and anxiety for a pregnant woman. Hold time to get an appointment are shocking. One of the receptionists is very rude and has very poor customer service. We have now changed to Oakley Surgery and the difference is like night and day!! I don't know why anybody still attends Dr Mirza and Partners. Definitely needs a change of Management. The only positive would be the actual doctors are very good.

I was advised by one of the receptionists to visit the practice to obtain online access and to rectify an admin error the surgery had made on my profile. I was looking to gain access online to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions without having the need to ring up and visit the practice especially given these unprecedented times with covid. Upon my visit to the surgery I rang the door bell a couple of times and waited. The receptionist named Nazmin opened the door with an aggressive look on her face and said 'Do you not know how to read' in a very patronising tone, whilst pointing at the faded note on the door. I replied that wasn't a manner I was looking to be greeted with at my Drs surgery. She then said she should not be speaking to me as I was not wearing a face mask however, I was wearing a face covering which was within government guidelines. Surely someone who works in a drs surgery should be well versed with government guidance? I mentioned this to her and she went silent for a moment. She then mentioned she did not like my tone, despite the fact that she instigated the hostile encounter, and that she did not wish to speak to me and proceeded to attempt to slam the door in my face, luckily my foot was in the doorway and stopped the door from hitting my face. Another lady who I believe was the nurse then had to intervene and she listened to me and was able to empathise with me. She took my details and said she would look into my query. Upon entry into the surgery, Nazmin persisted in acting like a spoilt school brat and was still persistent on raising her tone and stated she would not see me or help me despite their being a patient in the room. I was absolutely shocked by this encounter. Individuals who lack basic people skills should not be employed in such professions let alone a Drs surgery. I am absolutely appaled by the service I received and this is not the first time this individual has behaved in such a manner. I genuinely feel she is in the wrong profession! I see from the other reviews on here, many other patients may have had dealing with her. I would seriously recommend that her employment be terminated. I have made a formal complaint to the doctor regarding the Nazmin and am eagerly awaiting the outcome. It is such a shame that the Doctors at this surgery whom are so professional and helpful are let down by the actions and behaviour of 1 individual.
