Fantastic hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the check in/out process was swift and easy. The room was also clean and large enough, but no real views to speak of. Not really a complaint though. At the time most of the facilities were closed so no resturant or spa, but the lounge was open and has some limit menu items to choose from, as well as alcohol which is always a bonus. Overall great experience!

Staff are friendly and helpful on your arrival. Rooms are tidy and clean (if you don't look in the cupboards and drawers). Due to covid the Spa and pool are limited to 3 people at a time which needs to be booked in advance. It seems the hotel gives allocation to non guests as a priority (I'm guessing because they can be charged a fee) so don't expect any spots to be available by the time you arrive. Oh and bring a corkscrew, the hotel only owns one and the restaurant can't loan it out. Very odd place indeed

My wife and I had a wonderful short break at the Double Tree by Hilton in Sheffield Park. Fantastic warm welcome by Rebecca Gallagher & her colleagues which helped to make our stay so memorable. Our room was very clean, had a huge Super King Size bed and we were really impressed with all the facilities. The location was perfect for nipping in to Sheffield to do some shopping or driving off in to the local countryside. Next time, though, please can we have some black pudding on the breakfast menu!

This clean and comfortable place, was a stopover on our way to Scarborough. We chose it because it had good parking and was dog friendly, and the location was halfway from home to our final destination. The room was very comfortable. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast, opted to walk our dog to the Castle Inn 2 miles away to stretch our legs. Would stay again if in the area.

Fantastic hotel, great location and amazing staff. 5 minutes from shops, 20 minutes from scenic walks and 30 minutes from a free petting zoo! The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms. All staff friendly and very very helpful. Pool is fantastic and worth the entry fee.

My husband and i have always stayed at this hotel when coming to the Peak District, The hotel has a free car park with lots of parking spaces, upon arrival we have always had great customer service, we have never had any issues with our rooms or anything the staff have always been fantastic. We always book the swimming pool slots for 1 hour in advance, and the hot tub is an absolute dream after a long days hiking. The massage treatment and masseuses have always been wonderful. I would like to show appreciation to all the staff especially Phoebe , Jessie, the new gentleman who worked at reception, the cleaners and the wonderful ladies at breakfast who go out of their way to provide excellent service every single time. We will most definitely be coming back !

Hello Overall it was good. Just a couple of things. There was a couple of flies around the drinks machine at breakfast. There was 2 coffee machines at the breakfast unfortunately one wasn't working during our stay. This can have impact during busy weekend times. We ran out out of cups on Monday morning at breakfast, although there was take away cups. They did bring new cups. But some people had to use the take away cups as they couldn't wait for the porcelain cups. When I pulled table out in my room a leg fell off. The reception removed this for me. The timber door covering the fridge in the room looked like it needed a new hinge. Overall everything else was good.
