One of the best places to eat Edinburgh. Food is amazing, very tasty and authentic and reminded us about our time in India or China. Portions are very sufficient - sharing is a good option as dishes are big and you cannot taste everything. Watch out the grill does not come with any sides nor sauces. Don’t forget to order them additionally. Restaurant is professionally run with three floors, partly open kitchen and a very attentive and knowledgeable service staff team. Reservation ahead of time is recommendable.

I’ve visited Dishoom in London in the past and had to give the Edinburgh place a go. Just like my previous experience, this was great from start to finish. We’ve turned up without booking a table with not much hope. Not only did they get us a table, it also took no time for it to get ready considering how busy the place was. Our server was very friendly, polite and chatty and made some amazing food recommendations. The food was flavourful, well presented and very tasty. They offer vegetarian and vegan choices too. Overall I would highly recommend.

Yet again great food!(on this occasion breakfast). Very friendly attentive staff and as always a lovely atmosphere. The breakfasts really are top notch with a wide array to choose from. The coffee is awesome - strong but certainly not bitter. First time out after lockdown and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We’ve been here several times and every time it’s been a wonderful experience. Fantastic food and fantastic people!
