We had an enjoyable evening here, although a pretty large park, it was very peaceful. Great that it was dog friendly and that there was a great walk nearby. The ammenities were clean and pleasant. There was also, surprisingly, a pet laundry, a pet bath and a wee pet cemetery. Our site was grassed, large and easy to get in and out of.

Putting caravan next to people in tents is the worst thing that can happen They don't have a wall around them to stop being heard, They are not being loud but when your caravan bed is right next to people ,you can hear every word Next time I make bookings my 1st question will be asking, am I next to camper's in tents. I hope I get some sleep 2night Shouldn't be my job to ask people to be quite But I did have too walk out at 10.10pm to ask them to be quite. Day 2 the tent people went home and the rest of my stay has been peaceful and enjoyable

We have a 9 metre van and was given a 9 metre site in amongst the permanents (who were lovely). The permanents told us that they had informed the park multiple times not to put a large van on this site. There was no where to park our car, we ended up parking on another site. We had to tell reception not to put anyone else directly opposite as we would not get out. I counted 30 empty sites we would have fitted onto easily. The manger later came and asked if we would like to move, we were set up already so we stayed. The manger stated that some sites are closed intermittently to give the grass a chance to regrow and to water. I don't think reception knows how big each site is and randomly allocates. VERY small sites. Very small roads, allowing no room for movement of caravans. No warning that jumping pillow was closed for a wedding reception. No warning of loud music that could be heard across the park (400m) for the reception going until the early hours of the morning, resulting in limited sleep and then starting up early the next morning. Site was too far from the amenities which meant we used our own bathroom most of the time. Uneven and mostly unsealed roads full of potholes therefore my kids could not use their scooters. Although the new cabins are lovely and landscaped beautifully. Is the park trying to turn away caravans in favour of cabins? Lots of bugs, insects and spiders in the amenities. Rubbish bins few and far between, those that I could find were full and smelly. Is this the treatment I get for taking you up on a specials offer? Glad I didn't pay full price. WONT BE BACK. Three stars for pools and playground.

4/ 5

Great little park out of the way right on the river just a short stroll across the Bridge into town roughly 2 or 3 ks but you sit on the river bank and town is 100 metres across the river if you're in a boat.
