Abusive prices. I was this morning and I made 3 color prints on one side with a 300gr paper size A4. It cost me aprox £7.60. The real cost for the company if you count the cost of the print plus the cost of the sheet of 300gr is about 0.80p (About 0.20p for print and this price is being generous). They are making a profit with this price of £6.80 . That's more than 2500% of what it costs them that print. Now you will say but they have to win something. This is true, but if the actual cost of a print is 0.80p for them, I think these prices are abusive, it would be much more reasonable to have prices for people who need prints in small quantities. It can also be argued that they need to put these prices for the cost of the machines. Let's say that the printing is done with a Konica Minolta (or a similar model) the price for one of these is about £4000. With these prices if they ONLY made ten color prints on A4 paper 300gr single-sided printing every day, it would only take four months to completely recover the investment. I know all this data because I was working in a print shop for 3 years where I was dealing with the finances of the prints. So yes, it is an abusive price for anyone who needs a small amount of impressions or at least is what I think.
