Definitely not on par with other places in York. Room was very tiny, bathroom too. Cleanliness could be improved on as well as breakfast. Parking is not reliable as its on the street and no gaurenteed parking. Also have to be wary of long stays due to fines.

Ok. Rooms small and dated. A bit DIY really - nobody around when we arrived or left and lady sat in kitchen watching us serve ourselves breakfast. Nothing particularly wrong with the place but not very welcoming or cheery.

Close to city, good price, better than travel Lodge, it's a low to middle range venue Parking costs £5 perday on top of booking Free internet Had to rig up my own lights as the lamps we're for show only, they didn't have a power socket. My room overlooked the carpark so the motion detector kept going off and waking me up.

We stayed at the Diamonds villa for a night in York! The staff was very helpful with the checking process the rooms are heated centrally and were very warm! The next day we had a later train so the host helped us to leave the luggage behind while we toured the town. Not to mention it is easily accessible to the town by walk or by bus routes 1, 5.

5/ 5

It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was clean and warm and is an easy walk to York City centre. When I contacted the owners, they were very helpful. For the price, it has everything we needed. If you need parking, make sure you let them know as it looks like parking would be a problem otherwise.

Everything was perfect. Room was clean, spacious with a fridge that came in very handy. Originally booked for 2 nights but plans changed and when I asked to extend my stay the gentleman who handled my query was excellent and even managed to swap things around so we had the same room for all 3 nights

4/ 5

Very warm welcome. Perfect for a one night stay in York that is a short walk into the city centre. Room and bathroom was clean and tidy, which included soft fluffy towels, a fan, a stocked mini fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. Was also offered extra key cards if we needed. Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover with this B&B! Would stay again.
